Obed Orellena Killed in Head-On Crash on South Maple Avenue [San Francisco, CA]

25-Year-Old Man Dies after Fatal Head-on Collision on South Maple Street

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 27, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, Obed Orellena was killed in a fatal head-on accident on South Maple Avenue.

A three-vehicle crash was reported in the 200 block of South Maple Street at about 12:20 p.m., on April 20.

At this time the events leading up to the accident remain unclear; however, two vehicles reportedly collided head-on.

As a result of the impact, one man was killed on the scene. The authorities later identified the victim as 25-year-old Obed Orellena, of San Francisco.

Meanwhile, first responders transported two other people with severe injuries to a nearby hospital for treatment.

At this time, authorities did not identify the two injured parties. However, an active investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the crash.
