Michael Laemlein Arrested after DUI Crash on Churn Creek Road [Redding, CA]
Terry Bagley Hospitalized after Auto Accident on Presidio Street in Redding
REDDING, CA (March 7, 2021) – Thursday afternoon, 58-year-old Michael Laemlein was arrested after striking Terry Bagley in a DUI crash on Churn Creed Road.
The Redding Police Department first responded to the incident around 12:09 p.m., on March 4. Emergency crews arrived to the intersection of Churn Creek Road and Presidio Street.
Laemlein, a Redding resident, was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette north on Churn Creek Road. For reasons not yet known, he drove the wrong way into oncoming traffic and struck a Toyota pickup truck.
As a result, the Toyota then crashed into a Ford F-150. Shortly after, the corvette finally stopped after shearing a light pole and hitting a Sportsman’s Warehouse sign.
According to reports, 53-year-old Bagley of Redding, complained of pain and was taken to a local hospital. Although, there still has been no update on his current condition.
In addition, police arrested Laemmlein for driving under the influence of drugs and booked him into the Shasta County Jail.
No further details have been given at this time. However, an active investigation is underway.
