Woman Killed, Teen Hospitalized after Car Accident on Olympic Boulevard [Los Angeles, CA]
Fatality Reported after Collision near Overland Avenue in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 23, 2021) – Wednesday evening, a woman was killed and a teenager was hospitalized after a car accident on Olympic Boulevard.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene near Overland Avenue around 5:48 p.m. In addition, two vehicles were said to be involved in the collision.
At this time, the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, a woman was trapped underneath the wreckage following the impact. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, she was later pronounced dead.
The other driver involved was later described as a teenage boy. He was taken to a nearby hospital and was said to be suffering from moderate injuries. His identity has not been provided.
Police officers encourage those who saw the accident to contact their office as soon as possible. More information will soon be released to the public.
