32-Year-Old male Bicyclist Fatally Struck in Crash near Dehesa Road in El Cajon

EL CAJON, CA (February 23, 2021) – Wednesday night, 32-year-old Mohamed Ismail of La Mesa, was killed in a bicycle accident on Willow Glen Drive.

According reports, Ismail was riding his bicycle east on Willow Glen Drive when an SUV traveling the same direction struck him.

California Highway Patrol says witnesses immediately called 911 for further assistance. Despite life-saving efforts made by the paramedics, Ismail died on scene.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the driver involved.

At this time, no further information has been released. However, an active investigation to determine more details remains ongoing.
