Franklin Forch Jr. Struck and Killed by Car in Pedestrian Accident on Bowman Road

RIDGECREST, CA (January 15, 2021) — A 38-year-old man identified as Franklin Forch Jr. died in a pedestrian acccident on Monday, January 11.

According to reports, a car struck Forch Jr. in the 300 block of Bowman Road just before 6:00 a.m. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, he was pronounced dead on scene.

There are no further details on how the accident transpired and if impairment or speed played a role in the crash. Officials have not yet released the description of the involved vehicle and the identity of the driver.

The surrounding roadway was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, authorities continue to investigate the incident.
