Deadly Pedestrian Hit-And-Run by 48th and Fillmore Streets in Phoenix

PHOENIX, CA (January 18, 2021) – A man was struck and killed early Monday morning in the Phoenix Metro area near block 48.

The hit-and-run occurred at 2:45AM early Monday morning near 48th and Fillmore streets in Phoenix.

Phoenix police are investigating the fatal pedestrian hit-and-run. However, no details on how the hit-and-run or what direction the vehicle was coming have been released.

Before officials arrived at the accident, the driver of the vehicle had fled the scene. Shortly after they arrived, the man was pronounced dead.

The identity of the man struck is currently unknown and unreleased. However, the investigation is ongoing.
