Jackson Tsinnijinnie ID’d In Deadly Pedestrian Crash in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (January 15, 2021) — A 22-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident near an intersection in Phoenix early Thursday morning.
According to the Phoenix police, the collision happened near 36th Street and McDowell Road at about 1:40 a.m.
Initial findings showed that 22-year-old Jackson Tsinnijinnie was walking outside a crosswalk when an eastbound vehicle on McDowell Road struck him.
Medical personnel pronounced Tsinnijinnie deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, meanwhile, stopped and remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigators. Their name was not immediately available.
Impairment and speed did not play a role in the crash based on a preliminary investigation. However, the authorities are probing further on the incident.
