Passenger Dies in Keenbrook Two-Car Crash on Cajon Boulevard

 
KEENBROOK, CA (January 10, 2021) – A female passenger died following a two-car crash Sunday evening near the Cajon Pass, CHP officials said.
 
The crash happened around 7:15 p.m. on Cajon Boulevard near Keenbrook Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2001 Honda Accord that was travelling northbound on Cajon Boulevard towards Keenbrook Road at about 45 mph. A 2007 Ford Escord was heading southbound on Cajon Boulevard towards Keenbrook Road at the same speed.
 
The Honda Accord turned left onto Keenbrook Road when it was struck on the passenger side by the Ford Escort, CHP said. The impact ejected the passenger from the Honda.
 
Paramedics transported the victim to San Bernardino Community Hospital, where she later died.
 
Authorities only identified the victim as a 27-year-old Fontana woman.
 
The drivers of both vehicles were transported to local hospitals with moderate injuries, CHP said.
