Motorcyclist and Pedestrian Dead in Crash at Village Drive and Llanada Avenue [Victorville, CA]
2 Dead, 1 Hurt in Motorcycle and Pedestrian Collision in Victorville
Victorville, CA (January 11, 2021) – Two people suffered fatal injuries in a crash at Village Drive and Llanada Avenue in Victorville.
According to the authorities, the incident happened at about 7:33 p.m. Monday evening.
Witnesses said a motorcyclist struck several people at the intersection of Village Drive and Llanada Avenue.
The 42-year-old man operating the motorcycle and a 29-year-old pedestrian died at the scene.
Meantime, a Mercy Flight crew transported a second pedestrian with critical injuries to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
Meanwhile, the crash forced the closure of Village Drive between Amargosa Road and Vasquez Avenue. The area reopened several hours later at around 4:00 a.m.
The cause and the factors surrounding the crash remain under investigation. Also, the names of those involved were not immediately available.
