RENO, NV (October 16, 2020) — A pedestrian was struck and injured by a car on Mill Street in Reno on Thursday, October 15.
According to the police, at around 8:25 p.m., the driver failed to stop for the right of way. Then the vehicle struck a person in a crosswalk near Renown Regional Medical Center.
The extent of the injuries of the pedestrian was not available. However, reports said it does not appear to be life-threatening.
Officials have not yet released reports if alcohol or drugs contributed to the incident.
Authorities closed westbound Mill Street in the area of Yori Avenue. All lanes reopened at 3:15 a.m.
