Lee Cormier Jr. Dead after Elko Head-On Crash on Mountain City Highway near 80 Freeway
ELKO, NV (October 16, 2020) — A 63-year-old Elko man identified as Lee Cormier Jr. died following a head-on accident on Saturday, October 10.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Cormier Jr. rode a Harley Davidson south on Mountain City Highway and crossed over the center line. Then he crashed head-on into a northbound Dodge Ram truck, slamming into the left front of the truck.
Officials pronounced Cormier Jr. dead at the crash site.
There are no reports if speed or intoxication played a role in the incident.
The investigation of the crash is still underway.
