Man Hospitalized Following Hit-and-Run on Rosencrans Street in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 25, 2020) — A 41-year-old man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run on Rosecrans Street Wednesday night in the Midway District.
The collision happened just before 9:30 p.m. near Lytton Street. According to the San Diego police, the man was crossing westward on Rosencrans Street when a vehicle struck him. The pedestrian was reportedly crossing outside a marked crosswalk at the time.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop and did not render aid. They sped away to an unknown direction after hitting the pedestrian.
Meanwhile, the man was taken to a hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday, the police said their search continues for the hit-and-run driver. They are still conducting further investigation on the case.
