Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Indian Canyon Drive in Desert Hot Springs
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (August 30, 2020) – Two people were killed following a multi-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Desert Hot Springs, authorities said.
The crash happened around 1:11 a.m. in the 18000 block of Indian Canyon Drive.
CHP officials did not provide the number of vehicles involved and details of how the crash occurred. But firefighters extricated one person from the wreckage.
Deputies pronounced two people dead at the scene.
Ground ambulance transported two others to a local hospital, one in critical condition while the other with minor injuries.
At 5 a.m. the Riverside County coroner’s office was at the scene to conduct a full report.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
