Four Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Collision on 8 Freeway in Alpine

 
ALPINE, CA (August 23, 2020) – Four people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision on 8 Freeway, Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 11:06 AM. Due to unknown circumstances, a black Honda sedan and a Toyota van collided near Highway 79.
 
The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to overturn and land on its roof.
 
Emergency crews transported four people to area hospitals with unspecified injuries. Updates on their current conditions remain undisclosed.
