Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Oro-Quincy Highway in Berry Creek
BERRY CREEK, CA (August 19, 2020) – A woman was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon in Berry Creek, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on Oro-Quincy Highway near Bald Rock Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided into a Ford pickup truck pulling a tractor-trailer.
Firefighter paramedics responded and provided aid to the female rider. Sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Her identity was not immediately available.
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
