Randy Roberts Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (August 10, 2020) – The police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash in Phoenix that occurred on Friday.
The crash claimed the life of a 55-year-old man later identified as Randy Roberts. First responders found him lying in the roadway when they arrived at the scene near 7th Avenue and Indian School. They pronounced Roberts dead at the scene.
An initial investigation by the Phoenix police showed that Roberts was attempting to cross Indian School Road mid-block when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, who sped off and did not render aid to the pedestrian, is still being located by the authorities.
