Jammie Wilson Killed in Motorcycle Crash on North Vagedes Avenue [FRESNO, CA]
Rider Dies after Hit by Pickup Truck at North Vagedes Avenue and West Shield Avenue
FRESNO, CA (August 8, 2020) – A man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday morning Fresno, police said.
The crash happened around 9:06 a.m. at the intersection of North Vagedes and West Shields avenues, just east of Fruit Avenue.
Witnesses told police that the motorcycle was possibly speeding prior to the crash. The driver of a pickup truck then accidentally pulled into the path of the motorcycle.
The impact caused fatal injuries on the rider. He died at the scene.
The pickup driver remained on scene and cooperated with police. He was not under the influence.
The Fresno County coroner’s office identified the rider as 45-year-old Jammie Wilson of Fresno.
Fresno police are still investigating this fatal incident.
