Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car on Pacific Coast Highway near Winding Way
MALIBU, CA (July 21, 2020) – A woman who died in a pedestrian crash Tuesday last week in Malibu has been identified by authorities.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. July 21, on Pacific Coast Highway near Winding Way.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 48-year-old Kerrie Johnson was trying to cross Pacific Coast Highway when a car struck her.
Johnson suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Her city of residence was not available.
It is unknown if the involved driver stayed or fled the scene.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
