Woman Injured in Car Accident on Banning Boulevard [Wilmington, CA]

One Hospitalized after Wilmington Car Accident on North Banning Boulevard

 
WILMINGTON, CA (July 27, 2020) – A woman sustained injuries in a car accident on Banning Boulevard, Monday afternoon.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident happened at 12:15 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, two vehicles collided in the 1600 block of North Banning Boulevard. The impact of the crash trapped a woman in the wreckage.
 
Firefighters freed the woman and transported her to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It is unknown whether or not other people sustained injuries in the collision.
 
The Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
