Three Injured after Fresno Multi-Car Collision on Highway 99 and Highway 180

 
FRESNO, CA (July 27, 2020) — Three people suffered injuries following a multi-car collision on Highway 99 in southwest Fresno on Saturday, July 25.
 
According to authorities, just before 1:00 p.m., a Toyota Rav4 traveled west on Highway 180. Then the woman driver veered off the roadway for unknown reasons. After that, the car went airborne and landed on Highway 99.
 
The SUV struck three other vehicles, but no one sustained serious injuries.
 
First responders rushed the driver of the Rav4 and two children to the hospital with minor injuries.
 
CHP officers said that the correctly installed car seats helped save two children from serious injuries.
 
There is no information if intoxication played a role in the incident.
