Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash near 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road [PHOENIX, AZ]

Motorcyclist Dies After Colliding with Car in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (July 27, 2020) – A 39-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash near 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road on Saturday, July 25.
 
According to the Phoenix police, the bike the man was riding collided with a sedan.
 
A preliminary investigation showed that the car was exiting a private driveway. Meanwhile, the motorcycle was eastbound. The car then made a left turn onto westbound Happy Valley Road and then collided with the bike.
 
An emergency response team rushed the man to the hospital. However, the motorcycle rider did not survive and was pronounced dead.
 
The 76-year-old woman driving the car did not report any injuries.
 
Based on initial information gathered by the detectives, impairment and speed were not contributing factors in the crash. However, they are conducting further investigation on the case.
