DUI Suspected in Car Crash at Whitesbridge Avenue and Marks Avenue [FRESNO, CA]

Driver Injured in DUI Crash in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (July 27, 2020) – A man suffered injuries in a car crash at Whitesbridge Avenue and Marks Avenue Thursday night in Fresno.
 
According to the Fresno police, the crash took place past 9:00 p.m. The man was driving a car at 80 miles per hour when he ran a red light.
 
As a result, the car slammed into an RV that was entering the intersection. The impact caused the car to overturn and ejected the driver before coming to a full stop.
 
Emergency responders transported the man driving the car to the hospital. An update regarding his condition was not immediately available. No other party involved reported any injuries in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the police said they suspect that DUI was a factor in the incident. However, they are conducting further investigation.
