Ashley Ramos Killed in Speeding Accident on 80 Freeway [Alta, CA]

Ashley Ramos Dead, Keenan Bryant-Donatelli Injured after Alta Speeding Accident on 80 Freeway

 
ALTA, CA (July 28, 2020) — A woman identified as Ashley Ramos, 22, of Sacramento, died over the weekend in a speeding accident on Sunday, July 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 4:35 p.m. on 80 Freeway east of Drum Forebay Road. The collision happened at around 17 miles northeast of Colfax.
 
Ramos was a passenger in a 2007 Honda Civic driven by Keenan Bryant-Donatelli, 22, of Sacramento. The vehicle was speeding west on 80 Freeway, weaving through traffic.
 
Then, for unknown reasons, Bryant-Donatelli veered onto the right shoulder. The car went off the roadway and crashed into several trees over the embankment, a press release said.
 
Bryant-Donatelli suffered major internal injuries. Ramos died, according to authorities.
 
The incident remained under investigation on Monday.
