Adolph Trujillo Killed in Bicycle Crash on Baseline Avenue [FONTANA, CA]
Bicyclist Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Baseline Avenue in Fontana
FONTANA, CA (July 26, 2020) – A man was killed in a bicycle crash late Sunday evening in Fontana, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 11:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of Baseline Avenue.
Sheriff deputies said the man was riding on his bike when an unknown vehicle struck him. Paramedics responded to the scene and found the bicyclist lying in the roadway.
Despite life-saving measures, the man was pronounced dead at 12:04 a.m. Monday.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 59-year-old Adolph Trujillo, a Fontana resident.
Meanwhile, authorities did not mention if the driver involved stopped after hitting Trujillo.
An investigation into this fatal incident is ongoing.
