Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Clinton Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (July 25, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run on Clinton Avenue late Saturday evening.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened at about 10:50 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle hit a pedestrian near Crystal Avenue.
 
Emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and immediately fled the area. A detailed description of the suspect vehicle remains undisclosed.
 
Fresno police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
