Domingo Zacarias Killed in Crash on Harrison Street [THERMAL, CA]

52-Year-Old Man Dies in Thermal Crash at Harrison Street and 81st Avenue

 
THERMAL, CA (July 25, 2020) – A man was killed in a crash Saturday afternoon near the northern shore of the Salton Sea in Thermal.
 
The crash happened around 3:51 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison Street and 81st Avenue, about seven miles south of Mecca.
 
A CHP dispatcher said paramedics attempted life-saving measures on one patient but they were unsuccessful. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as 52-year-old Domingo Clemente Zacarias.
 
Details about what led up to the crash were not immediately available.
 
It is also unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the exact cause of the accident.
