3 Hospitalized after Car Accident on Ramona Expressway [Perris, CA]

Two Trapped after Car Accident on Ramona Expressway near Indian Avenue in Perris

 
PERRIS, CA (July 21, 2020) – Three people sustained injuries in a car accident on Ramona Expressway, Tuesday morning.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the incident happened at about 4:55 AM. Due to unknown circumstances, three vehicles collided at the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Indian Avenue.
 
The impact of the crash trapped two people in the wreck. Firefighters freed the victims and medics transported them, along with another person, to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries. Authorities did not release the identities of the victims.
 
Officers temporarily closed affected areas to make way for clearing operations and an investigation.
 
The department continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
