Three People and Dog Injured, Ramon Hernandez-Delgado Arrested after Lake Elsinore Crash
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (July 19, 2020) – Ramon Hernandez-Delgado was arrested following a DUI crash on Riverside Drive that injured three people and a dog early Sunday evening.
According to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, the incident happened at about 5:20 PM. For reasons still under investigation, a white Toyota Tundra and silver Dodge Ram collided head-on near Gunnerson Street.
Firefighters had to extricate one person trapped in the wreck. Paramedics then transported a total of three people to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
The Riverside County Department of Animal Services also arrived to render aid to an injured dog.
Officers later arrested the Toyota driver, identified as 59-year-old Ramon Hernandez-Delgado of Lake Elsinore, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. After medical clearance, he will be booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
