Serious Injuries Following Winchester Car Accident near Winchester Road

 
WINCHESTER, CA (July 22, 2020) — Three people sustained injuries in a collision near Winchester Road and Scott Road in Winchester Tuesday morning.
 
According to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department officials, they learned about the incident at about 7:52 a.m. It involved two vehicles.
 
The circumstances leading up to the accident were not clear. However, the officials said emergency crews extricated one person from one of the vehicles.
 
Of the three injured parties, one had to be airlifted to a hospital for treatment. A ground ambulance transported the other patient.
 
Information on whether drugs, alcohol, or speed played a role in the crash was not available. The names of those involved were also not released. Further investigation is underway.
