One Fatally Hurt after Pittsburg Rollover Collision on Railroad Avenue and Buchanan Road
PITTSBURG, CA (July 23, 2020) — A two-vehicle rollover collision on Railroad Avenue and Buchanan Road left one person dead on Tuesday, July 21.
At around 9:20 a.m., Pittsburg officers responded to a traffic crash on Railroad Avenue and Buchanan Road involving two cars.
Just after arriving at the location, paramedics determined both the driver and a passenger from one of the vehicles had critical injuries. They transported both to area hospitals.
Unfortunately, the driver of this vehicle died at the hospital. The passenger is still in critical but stable condition. The other involved party had minor injuries.
During the initial investigation, it was determined that the car with the two occupants moved north on Railroad Avenue. Then it slammed with a car moving east on Buchanan Road.
At this point, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. The identity of the deceased is not yet available pending notification.
