Woman Killed in Two-Car Crash at Village Drive and Eto Camino Road [VICTORVILLE, CA]

Two-Car Crash on Village Drive in Victorville Kills 1 and Injures Two Children

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (July 17, 2020) – A woman was killed following a two-car crash late Friday afternoon in Victorville, CHP officials said.
 
The crash happened around 5:43 p.m. at the intersection of Village Drive and Eto Camino Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Honda Accord attempted to make a left turn onto southbound Village Drive into the path of the oncoming white Nissan Altima. The Nissan then collided with the front driver side door of the Honda.
 
Firefighters arrived and pronounced the female driver of the Honda dead at the scene. Her name was not immediately available.
 
Good Samaritans removed the two children, 9-year-old twin girls, from the Honda. Paramedics then took them to a trauma center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
The male driver of the Nissan was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
 
A woman at the scene said the Nissan was rented by her daughter. Her daughter’s boyfriend stole the it several days ago and refused to give it back.
 
The investigation is ongoing. Authorities asked anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the Sheriff’s Victorville station at 760-241-2911.
