Norman Kent Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Harbor Boulevard [SANTA ANA, CA]

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver at Harbor Boulevard and McFadden Avenue

 
SANTA ANA, CA (July 17, 2020) – A man who died in a hit-and-run crash Friday evening in Santa Ana has been identified by authorities.
 
The crash happened around 9:25 p.m. at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and McFadden Avenue.
 
Norman Kent, 81, of Garden Grove was standing in the center median of McFadden Avenue when a westbound white Jeep Cherokee struck him. The Jeep did not stop after the crash.
 
Paramedics arrived and found Kent lying in the roadway. They tried saving him, but he died before he could be taken to a hospital.
 
The coroner’s office will perform an autopsy on Kent’s body.
 
Police said the SUV would likely have front-end damage.
