Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident at Palmdale Road and Del Gado Road [VICTORVILLE, CA]

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (July 22, 2020) — A male pedestrian was killed in a pedestrian accident at Palmdale Road and Del Gado Road on Monday night in Victorville.
 
According to the Victorville’s Major Accident Investigation Team, they learned about the collision at about 10:00 p.m. They immediately rushed to the area and found a pedestrian with fatal injuries. They also located a damaged BMW parked near the scene.
 
Initial findings showed that the vehicle was eastbound when it struck the pedestrian. He died at the scene. Officials have not released the name of the victim, saying he was in his 20s.
 
Meantime, the closure of the Palmdale Road and Del Gado Road intersection took effect while the investigators processed the scene. They also called in a tow truck to remove the damaged BMW from the area. The deputies said the driver of the vehicle stayed and cooperated with the investigation.
 
At this time, the cause and circumstances of the pedestrian accident are still unknown. However, further investigation is underway.
