15-Year-Old Girl Dead in Las Vegas Pedestrian Crash
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 21, 2020) — A 15-year-old girl lost her life in a pedestrian accident on Charleston Boulevard and Sky Vista Drive Sunday evening.
The Las Vegas police said an Audi was traveling westbound on Charleston Boulevard when it struck the teen at about 9:20 p.m.
A preliminary investigation showed that two adults and two juveniles were in a desert area on the north side of Charleston. The two juveniles then tried to run to the south side of Charleston, and the 15-year-old girl was hit by the car.
The teen suffered critical injuries and was transported to UMC Children’s Hospital. Unfortunately, the girl later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Her name has not been released.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Audi remained at the scene. The driver did not show signs of impairment according to the police.
This fatal crash is still under investigation.
