Pedestrian Dies in Santa Ana Hit-and-Run Crash on Harbor Boulevard

 
SANTA ANA, CA (July 17, 2020) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Friday evening in Santa Ana, authorities said.
 
The crash happened around 9:25 p.m. at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and McFadden Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a male pedestrian was standing in the center median of McFadden Avenue when a westbound white Jeep Cherokee struck him. The Jeep did not stop after the crash.
 
Paramedics arrived and attempted to treat the severely injured man, but he died before he could be taken to a hospital. His identity was not immediately available.
 
Police said the SUV would likely have front-end damage.
