24-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Vehicle in Sun Valley

 
SUN VALLEY, CA (July 21, 2020) – A 24-year-old man suffered fatal injuries in a hit-and-run accident on 5 Freeway.
 
The incident happened at about 10:40 p.m. on Sunday near Lankershim Boulevard.
 
Officials have not released the name of the victim who died at the scene. They said he was from Anaheim. Details on the identity of the pedestrian will be released after notifying his family.
 
Meantime, it was not clear how the accident happened. However, the California Highway Patrol said that a red big rig may have struck the man.
