Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Channel Islands Boulevard [Oxnard, CA]

Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Channel Islands Boulevard near South M Street

 
OXNARD, CA (July 16, 2020) – A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Channel Islands Boulevard, early Thursday morning.
 
According to the Oxnard Police Department, the incident happened at about 1:52 AM. For reasons still under investigation, a woman was lying in the roadway. Then, a westbound vehicle hit her at the intersection of Channel Islands Boulevard and South M Street.
 
Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian, described as a woman in her 30s, dead at the scene. As per reports, officers are working on determining the deceased person’s next of kin. Meanwhile, the driver, identified as a 25-year-old man, remained and cooperated with investigators.
