One Killed in Rollover Crash on Highway 65 near 80 Freeway [ROSEVILLE, CA]

Fatal Rollover Crash on Highway 65 in Roseville

 
ROSEVILLE, CA (July 17, 2020) – At least one person died following a rollover crash Friday morning in Roseville, CHP officials said.
 
The crash happened on Highway 65, just before the 80 Freeway interchange.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a car was heading southbound on Highway 65 when it traveled off the roadway for unknown reasons. It went down a steep embankment and overturned several times. It then struck a tree.
 
Deputies arrived and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available pending family notification.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the crash to determine the exact cause and factors involved.
