One Dead, One Injured in Two-Car Crash on Highway 180 [Sanger, CA]

One Killed, Another Hurt in Sanger Two-Car Crash on Highway 180 and Academy Avenue

 
SANGER, CA (July 20, 2020) — One person died and another suffered injuries after a two-car crash on Highway 180 outside of Sanger on Wednesday, July 15.
 
Officers responded to the crash just after 10:00 p.m. on Highway 180 and Academy Avenue.
 
CHP officers said a Honda Civic moved northbound on Academy. Then it crashed at an intersection with a Nissan pickup moving along Highway 180.
 
In the last report, investigators weren’t sure which one failed to yield at the traffic signal.
 
The driver of the Honda died at the scene.
 
Medics transported the Nissan driver to Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno. His condition was not yet available.
 
Officials are still investigating the crash.
