Glendale Two-Vehicle Crash Sends One Person to Hospital

 
GLENDALE, AZ (July 20, 2020) – A person suffered injuries in a truck crash near 67th Avenue and Grand Avenue Friday morning in Glendale.
 
The Glendale police reported that the crash took place just past 4:30 a.m. It involved an SUV and a flatbed truck that was carrying a forklift.
 
Based on an initial investigation, the SUV crashed into the truck. The impact caused the forklift to dislodge and land on the SUV.
 
One of the two occupants in the SUV suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The patient was transported to the hospital for treatment.
 
The area of 67th Avenue and Grand Avenue remained closed during the investigation and emergency response. It has since reopened.
 
Whether speed or impairment played a role in the crash is unknown at this time. However, further investigation is underway.
