Driver Wanted after Hit-and-Run Crash on Rocky Ridge Drive in Roseville

 
ROSEVILLE, CA (July 16, 2020) – Authorities continue to look for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash on Rocky Ridge Drive, Thursday morning.
 
According to the Roseville Police Department, the incident happened at about 10:27 AM. A Toyota Tacoma reportedly hit the rear of an SUV on Rocky Ridge Drive. The driver of the Toyota did not stop and later hit another vehicle near Lead Hill.
 
A vehicle attempted to follow the Toyota truck, but the Toyota driver allegedly ran a red light to flee the area.
 
A few minutes after the collision, the Toyota truck was spotted on westbound Miner’s Ravine Drive.
 
It is unknown whether or not people involved in the collision sustained injuries.
 
Roseville police described the suspect vehicle as a dark green 2000s Toyota Tacoma extended cab truck with chrome trim and chrome wheels. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Officer Phelps by email at NPhelps@roseville.ca.us and reference case #2020-44530.
