VICTORVILLE, CA (July 17, 2020) – Three people sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Bear Valley Road, Friday afternoon.
 
According to the Victorville City Fire Department, the incident happened at about 3:20 PM. For unknown reasons, a red Ford pickup truck and a black Nissan Altima collided head-on on the south shoulder of the roadway near Mesa View Drive.
 
The impact of the crash caused major front-end damage to the Nissan.
 
A helicopter transported the driver of the Nissan to Loma Linda University Medical Center with serious injuries. Meanwhile, two other victims were transported to local hospitals with unspecified injuries.
 
The Victorville Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
