2 Hurt after Two-Vehicle Accident on Duncan Canyon Road in Fontana

 
FONTANA, CA (July 11, 2020) – Two drivers were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Duncan Canyon Road, late Saturday evening.
 
According to the Fontana Police Department, the incident happened at about 11:28 PM. A blue Honda Civic was stopped at a northbound stop sign on Coyote Canyon Road when the driver attempted to turn left onto Duncan Canyon.
 
Then, an eastbound black Honda Accord allegedly ran a stop sign and sideswiped the Civic. The impact of the crash caused the Accord driver to lose control, hit the center divider, and overturn.
 
Both drivers sustained minor injuries but declined hospitalization.
 
Fontana police continue to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
