San Bernardino Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash at Mission Boulevard and Wineville Road

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (July 14, 2020) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Jurupa Valley, sheriff’s deputies said.
 
The crash happened around 12:50 p.m. at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Wineville Road.
 
Jose Ortega Jr., 59, of San Bernardino, was driving his vehicle when he collided with another motorist for unknown reasons. The impact caused him critical injuries.
 
Paramedics arrived and performed life-saving measures on Ortega Jr., but he died at the scene.
 
The other driver sustained no injuries and cooperated with authorities.
 
Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected to be a factor in the crash.
