Jesus Vazquez Killed in Motor Home Crash near 32nd Street and Greenway Road [PHOENIX, AZ]

Jesus Vazquez Dead, 2 Others Injured in Phoenix High-Speed Crash

 
PHOENIX, AZ (July 16, 2020) – A 22-year-old driver lost his life after he collided with a motor home in Phoenix.
 
The Phoenix police said Jesus Vazquez lost control of his 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse while driving at a high rate of speed on Acoma Drive. He then crossed into the westbound lane where he collided with an oncoming 1999 Winnebago motor home.
 
Vazquez died at the scene. First responders took his 22-year-old passenger to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
 
The 50-year-old woman driving the motor home had minor injuries. The police said there were no indications of impairment on her side.
 
Meanwhile, a toxicology report is pending to determine whether Vazquez was impaired at the time of the crash.
 
Further investigation of the fatal accident is underway.
