Frank Sifuentes, Pedro Gonzalez, and Carlos Gonzalez Killed in Fresno Big Rig Accident

 
FRESNO, CA (July 16, 2020) — Three Fresno residents identified as Frank Sifuentes, 31; Pedro Gonzalez, 34; and Carlos Gonzalez, 34, died in a big rig crash.
 
The incident took place at West Manning Avenue and South Cornelia Avenue near Raisin City on Tuesday, July 14.
 
The California Highway Patrol received a report of a crash at around 9:30 p.m. between a PT Cruiser and a big rig carrying animal carcasses.
 
Sgt. Matt Radke said the PT Cruiser moved north on Cornelia and the big rig traveled on west on Manning. Then for unknown reasons, the PT Cruiser failed to yield and slammed with the big rig.
 
The big rig rolled over and crushed the PT Cruiser that killed the men.
 
Medics rushed a woman in the vehicle and the big rig driver to a hospital with major injuries, Radke said. They are both expected to survive.
