Consuelo Gonzales Struck and Injured by James Obrien in Red Bluff

 
RED BLUFF, CA (July 16, 2020) – A 41-year-old woman suffered injuries after a vehicle struck her in a hospital parking lot Tuesday morning.
 
The Red Bluff police said the crash happened at about 7 a.m. in the parking lot of the Outpatient Imaging Center at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital.
 
Consuelo Gonzales of Red Bluff was walking in the parking lot, while 59-year-old James Obrien of Redding was driving eastbound when the collision happened. Obrien reportedly did not see Gonzales due to the glare of the sun.
 
First responders initially took Gonzales to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. However, they later had her airlifted to Mercy Medical Center in Redding. She is in stable condition, according to the police.
