Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (Jul, y 14, 2020) – A bicyclist was killed following a hit-and-run crash early Tuesday morning in Huntington Beach.
 
The crash happened around 12:25 a.m. near the corner of Beach Boulevard and Sunrise Drive.
 
Police said the bicyclist was struck by an unknown vehicle, sending him down on the roadway. Paramedics tried to save the victim, but he died at the scene.
 
The involved driver did not stop to render aid. Police later located the vehicle and arrested the driver for fleeing the scene.
 
Police did not release the names of the deceased or the arrested driver.
