One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash at West Rosamond Boulevard and United Street [ROSAMOND, CA]

Afternoon Two-Vehicle Crash at West Rosamond Boulevard and United Street Ends in Fatality

 
ROSAMOND, CA (July 14, 2020) – At least one person was killed following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Rosamond, according to the CHP.
 
The crash happened around 2:08 p.m. at the intersection of West Rosamond Boulevard and United Street.
 
CHP officials said a white Toyota Tacoma collided with another vehicle for unknown reasons. The impact caused major front-end damage on the Tacoma.
 
One person also sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures on the individual, but that person died at the scene.
 
The Kern County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim once family members are properly notified.
 
CHP officials are still trying to determine whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
