Fatal Motorcycle Crash on South H Street in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 14, 2020) – A man was killed following a motorcycle crash Tuesday night in south Bakersfield, police said.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:27 p.m. at the intersection of South H Street and Hendricks Lane.
 
According to police, the man was riding his motorcycle when a car struck him. He suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident.
 
Arriving units rushed him to Kern Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. His name was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
Police said the driver of the car remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
 
Neither alcohol nor drugs appeared to be a factor in the crash. Authorities asked anyone with information regarding this incident to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.
